Reflection on Educational Tool

While considering the significance of educational tools in ICT, it is clear that these tools have completely changed how we interact, communicate, and share information. Traditional learning and working settings have been changed, presenting fresh opportunities. For me personally, communication technologies are quite useful in a variety of ways in teaching and learning. By leveraging these tools, individuals can harness the power of technology to enhance learning and expand their horizon, and thrive in the digital age.

First and the foremost, I value how interactive communication platforms are since they encourage participation and engagement. Social media, online discussion boards, and forum platform provides avenues for students, educators, and professionals to express their thoughts, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations with a broad spectrum of people. This interactive environment promotes active leaning, critical thinking, and exchange of diverse perspectives. It also provide access to diverse culture, and ideas from around the world as well. Through virtual interactions, individual can engage with people from different backgrounds, fostering intercultural understanding and global awareness. This exposure to diverse viewpoints enriches the learning experience and prepare individuals for globalized world.

It provides channels of feedback and support. Students can seek guidance from teachers, mentors, or peers. Educators can also provide timely feedbacks and support to students, addressing their queries and addressing the learning challenges. This enhances the leaning and experience and helps individual progress in their educational journey without delay.

It allows educators and students to create and share digital content such as interactive presentations, videos and animations. These resources engage students and provide visual and interactive elements that enhance understanding and retention of materials. It also allows for the creation and administration of online assessments, including quizzes, test and even a children can share their thoughts and perspectives virtually which is more convenient. Unlike in the past we can use constructive tools such as excel sheet to keep record of both Summative assessment and formative assessment which can be use as the evidence for the future.

It is crucial to recognize that using communicative technologies presents some difficulties. The human element and non-verbal clues that characterize face-to-face conversations can occasionally be missing in the digital world. The limits of written communication might lead to misconceptions and misinterpretations. The development of string interpersonal skills, which are essential for efficient communication, may also be hampered by on over-reliance on digital communication.
