Mountain


 This is the photo taken during the hike towards Genyen Latsho (spirit lake) in the year 2020 which is situated behind a mountain slope, to the left of Phajoding, in the upper part of the Doedeydra and Dechenphu Lhakhang towards north Thimphu. Not only the scene is mesmerizing but also provides the fresh air and relaxing piece of mind for the hikers as we head uphill towards the lake. This photo would help children to identify the types of landforms and valleys as well as the sort of vegetation which they learn in Geography discipline. We can also relate this photo to the topic "land pollution" whereby the children can see the differences between the polluted land and those land which are not polluted through various human activities.

  https://youtu.be/LvcOD7ZCu8o This video excursion is to highlight my trip towards Dumtseg Lhakhang which is nestled on the edge of a hill between Paro and Dopchari Valley, across a bridge from Paro.  It is walkable from Main Town Paro. It is on the way to National  Museum   just a 10-minute walk from Paro town. We need to cross the Paro river.  It was Built in the 14th century by the famous Buddhist master Thangtong Gyalpo. The main construction of the temple was carried out by Thusay Dawa Zangpo and his 6 Lams. The temple was extended by the 25th Je-Khenpo Sherab Gyeltsen with the aid from local villages and donors. The name of the donors are still seen craved on the tree trunk. The temple was renovated by Her Majesty Gyalyum Kezang Choeden Wangchuck.  The temple is divided into three parts Ground floor (which is considered as hell) First floor (considered as earth) and Second floor (considered as heaven). The ground floor holds the Five Buddha of Meditation and forms of Avalokitesh
