My Description

 


This is Deki Lhazom from Tashigang which is located in the eastern part of Bhutan. She is currently pursuing B.Ed Primary in Paro College of Education under Paro Dzongkhag. To talk about my hobbies usually I enjoy going for a hike to those places that I haven't been before with my friends, love watching Chinese and Korean dramas and not to forget I also enjoying sleeping. I would describe myself as sociable, joyful and open-minded.

Trip to Dumtseg Lhakhang (Video)

  https://youtu.be/LvcOD7ZCu8o This video excursion is to highlight my trip towards Dumtseg Lhakhang which is nestled on the edge of a hill between Paro and Dopchari Valley, across a bridge from Paro.  It is walkable from Main Town Paro. It is on the way to National  Museum   just a 10-minute walk from Paro town. We need to cross the Paro river.  It was Built in the 14th century by the famous Buddhist master Thangtong Gyalpo. The main construction of the temple was carried out by Thusay Dawa Zangpo and his 6 Lams. The temple was extended by the 25th Je-Khenpo Sherab Gyeltsen with the aid from local villages and donors. The name of the donors are still seen craved on the tree trunk. The temple was renovated by Her Majesty Gyalyum Kezang Choeden Wangchuck.  The temple is divided into three parts Ground floor (which is considered as hell) First floor (considered as earth) and Second floor (considered as heaven). The ground floor holds the Five Buddha of Meditation and forms of Avalokitesh
